To finalize your rental agreement, please read carefully and accept the following general terms:
1 - Equipment Pickup
At the time of pickup, the renter must ensure that the equipment is in good working condition and report any anomalies to the lessor.
2 - Equipment Return
The equipment must be returned to the lessor at the end of the rental period specified in the contract, during opening hours, and in impeccable condition, including all provided accessories. Any lost or damaged accessories will be charged to the renter according to the current rates.
3 - Rental Extension
An extension of the rental period by 7 days is possible upon a new subscription by the due date.
4 - Minimum Age Requirement
The renter must be of legal age.
5 - Rates and Services
The applicable rates are those displayed on the website as well as in the provided documents.
6 - Insurance
The renter is responsible for obtaining adequate insurance covering the risks associated with the use of the equipment.
7 - Helmets
Helmets are not mandatory in France for adults but are highly recommended. A helmet rental service is available during the rental period.
8 - Renter's Liability
The renter agrees to use the equipment with caution and according to the provided safety instructions. They are responsible for bodily and material damages caused during its use and must bear the costs of repair in case of damages, theft, or loss. A police report will be required for proof, stating the circumstances of the theft, particularly that the bike was secured with a lock to a fixed point.
9 - Security Deposit
The lessor systematically takes a credit card imprint for an amount indicate on the website against the risks of loss, theft, or damages.
10 - Applicable Law
This contract is governed by French law. In case of dispute, the parties may resort to mediation to attempt to resolve their differences, failing which the competent court will be that of the equipment rental location. In case of dispute involving multiple parties, a single court may be designated by the judiciary.
